A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

In "This Is Just A Normal, Run-Of-The-Mill Walking Simulator And Everything Is Fine, Don’t Worry About It," water is inexplicably rising around you. You can explore, try to talk to the people around you, or just watch.

The game means one thing to me, but it might mean something else to you. Whatever it means to you, it's okay.

CW: drowning, depression, anxiety, and guilt-tripping (especially about education, exercise, and friendship).

"This Is Just A Normal, Run-Of-The-Mill Walking Simulator And Everything Is Fine, Don’t Worry About It" was part of the the Video Game Art Gallery's exhibition "System Link: Video Game as Memoir."

"This Is Just A Normal, Run-Of-The-Mill Walking Simulator And Everything Is Fine, Don’t Worry About It" was discussed as part of a larger discussion of the System Link exhibition on The Kickstarter Games Podcast episode "A Relationship With Your Vacuum Cleaner."

The game takes about 10 minutes to play.

Update, 2020: this was a game made when I was a student, in 2017. I recently realized that the audio used in the game was NOT royalty free as I originally thought! I am trying to replace the audio or contact the audio creators, but they are difficult to get a hold of and, unfortunately, I lost the working files of this game when my computer got a virus in 2019, so simply replacing the audio has proven to be not a very simple task. The audios used are by Audio Productions on YouTube and Infinity Soundscapes, also on YouTube. I would link to Audio Productions but, as I'm sure you can guess, it's turned out to be pretty hard to find the correct channel with that common name.
